This year, the Heart of Tomball Republican Women’s Club sponsored a wreath-laying ceremony at the museum’s World War II Memorial. Every year, we honor the brave men from Tomball who sadly lost their lives during WWII. Since 2006, nine memorial plaques and trees have graced the museum property and remind us of the sacrifice some men and women have given to protect our country.
Special thanks to Boy Scout Troop 113 for the posting of the colors, Dr. James Clark (First Baptist Church pastor) for our prayer, all who helped lay a wreath, and our photographers – John Ellis, Kaitlyn Ireland, and London Tye.
If you missed the ceremony, be sure to check out the memorial at the museum today and look forward to another Memorial Day ceremony next year!
