Wendish Log House and Corn Crib

The Spring Creek County Historical Association acquired the log house and corn crib in 1989. These buildings were erected in the Wendish settlement of Serbin, south of Giddings, Texas, around 1857. Pioneers in the wooded areas of Texas commonly used this type on construction.
