Join us for a Docent and Volunteer Training Day on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
A Docent is a guide who works at a museum or historical site as a volunteer. Docents provide exclusive anecdotes and living history at each exhibit. This workshop will provide the training you will need to become a Docent at Tomball Museum Center.
There are also many other opportunities available to volunteer such as writing newsletter and blog articles, decorating for the Annual Candlelight Tour and other events, writing grant proposals, fundraising and membership drives, research and write-ups on Museum artifacts, taking pictures, maintenance crew, cleaning, and organizing and cataloging the library.
